Wholesale Japanese Premium Fruit, Shipped Canada-Wide

From Japan we bring the premium lines: Shine Muscat, Ruby Roman, Kyoho, Pione and Nagano Purple grapes, Crown and Yubari King melon, nashi pear, Fuji and Sekai Ichi apples, Amaou and white strawberries, Dekopon, Miyazaki mango, Fuyu persimmon and yuzu. This is fruit bought as a gift, graded and packed one piece at a time.

What we bring from Japan

Prices move every week, so they are not on this page. Ask and we send this week's list the same day, with what is actually landing.

Japanese grapes, by colour

Green: Shine Muscat. Seedless, with a thin skin you eat whole, and a sweet, floral taste. It is the Japanese grape most shoppers know.

Red: Ruby Roman, from Ishikawa. Large, round, bright red berries, each bunch graded before it is sold under the name.

Black: Kyoho and Pione, large purple-black berries with a skin that slips off, and Nagano Purple, which is seedless with a skin you can eat.

Selling a premium line

Japanese fruit sells as a gift: by the bunch, the melon or the box, at the front of the store. Tell us your week's volume and we book Japanese lines against confirmed orders, so you are not left holding a premium fruit that did not sell.

Mixed pallets across our range count toward the minimum order, so a few boxes of Japanese fruit can ride with the rest of your order.

Delivery and minimum order

Metro Vancouver orders go on our own refrigerated trucks, on standing routes. Delivery there is included above the minimum unless your quote says otherwise. Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba ship refrigerated as LTL or full pallets. Quebec ships refrigerated for standing volume accounts, as set out on the Prairies and Eastern Canada page.

The minimum is $300 to $500 per delivery, depending on your delivery area.

Ordering

Japanese fruit sells wholesale only, by the case. Metro Vancouver runs on our own trucks and the rest of Canada ships refrigerated. Routes are on the shipping and delivery page, and how pricing works explains why prices come by price list rather than on the site.
