We want every buyer to be able to use this site, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard alone, magnification, or a phone in bright sunlight on a loading dock.
The standard we build to
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the W3C. That is the level referenced by the Accessibility Standards Canada framework and by British Columbia's accessibility legislation.
What that means in practice
- Text and background colours meet the contrast ratios required at AA.
- Every image carries alternative text, or is marked decorative where it adds nothing.
- Every form field has a visible, associated label, and errors are announced, not only shown in red.
- The whole site can be operated by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator, and a skip link to the main content.
- Headings run in order, so a screen reader user can navigate by structure.
- Buttons and links say what they do, rather than "click here" or "read more".
- Layout reflows to 320px wide and to 200% zoom without loss of content or horizontal scrolling.
- The site is published in English, Farsi, Arabic and Turkish, with correct right-to-left rendering for Farsi and Arabic.
Known gaps
We test with keyboard navigation, with VoiceOver, and with automated contrast and structure checks. We have not yet commissioned a full independent audit against every WCAG 2.1 AA criterion, so we describe this site as substantially conformant rather than fully conformant. Third party embeds, and PDF documents such as our price list, may not meet the same standard as the web pages.

Tell us about a barrier
If something on this site blocks you, tell us what page you were on and what happened. We treat accessibility reports as faults to fix, not feedback to file. We aim to reply within two business days.
